Poor Zayn Malik has reportedly had to drop most of the songs on his new album because they’re all about Gigi Hadid.
The couple announced their split earlier this month, and while it was made out to be a mutual decision, Zayn is said to be left "heartbroken" and in need of some new album tracks.
Sources say the former One Direction star penned most of the songs on his upcoming second solo album about his love for his model girlfriend.
And now, he wants to ditch them and write new songs to help him process the split.
A source told the Daily Star : "Zayn has been hard at work on this album for about 18 months.
"During most of that time he was completely head over heels in love with Gigi so that’s what he wrote about.
"There’s lots of songs about their love, passion and sensuality. But some of the songs are more painful to him than loving now."
The source added that Zayn is "heartbroken" by the break-up despite it being touted as a mutual decision.
They also say he wants to write new music about the split to help him process his feelings.
Gigi famously appeared in Zayn’s first solo music video, PILLOWTALK.
It comes after he sent fans wild by teasing some of his new music with a short video clip on Instagram.
Fading in from black, the words "Coming soon…" flash up on the screen.
Footage then appears to show Zayn in some sort of heist or gangster movie.
He meets a mysterious character in a hotel lobby before taking an equally-mysterious call at a pay phone and wandering towards a yacht with a briefcase in his hand.
The screen goes black as a gun shot goes off.
The words "the story continues" are then shown on the screen.
He didn’t caption the video, which is only about 10 seconds long, but it’s gathering a lot of attention, racking up over a million views in just a couple of hours, and sending his fans wild at the same time.
One commented: "WHAT THE F**K!!!!????????? I WASNT READY!!! SHOOOK IN MY CORE!"
"OMFGGG WTFFFF," another exclaimed.
While one said: "I cant wait"
"Eagerly waiting," another told him.
And one commented: "Finally"
Mirror Online has contacted Zayn’s representatives for comment.
