IF you fancy a little getaway but don't want to for out to set off somewhere else, Asda has the perfect thing for you.

Shoppers are racing to get their hands on a huge tent that's scanning at the tills for £100 off.


What's even better is it's not just a small pop-up tent, but a huge eight-man tepee.

Posting on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, she raved: "Finally got myself a bargain worthy of putting on here!

"This 8 man tepee tent was originally something like £145/155, it was on sale in Asda for £75 but scanned at £44."

The Ozark Trial tent is described online as being "roomy enough for up to 8 people, the simple design has a single central steel pole, inner tent with high side wind/splash guards.

After sharing her bargain in her local Asda, other shoppers could've believe what agreat deal it was.

One said: "That's a good deal, well done you!"

"We got the same bargain last year its fab," a second commented.

A third wrote: "'I've been looking at these but because I already have a tent I couldn't warrant paying £89 for another one.

"£44 is good you definitely grabbed a bargain, but as others have said, make sure to waterproof it first as friends of mine have this exact one and they're prone to leaking even from new."

"I got same one last October in sale. It stood up to high winds and rain  in Scarborough a few weeks back really impressed," another said.

Meanwhile, other shoppers said the tent is best in fair weather rather than the current rainy conditions.

"Good luck – you'll get drenched," one said.
