And while we were all expecting the likes of Robbie Williams, Ayda Field, Cara Delevigne and Naomi Campbell to come out in full force for Eugenie's big day, there's one famous face that's left us all scratching our heads…
Yes, no one can quite figure out how on earth pop star Ricky Martin bagged an invite to the second Royal Wedding of the year.
The Puerto Rican singer attended the Windsor wedding with his Swedish artist husband Jwan Yosef after flying into London on Tuesday.
And while there's no doubt the 46-year-old singer looked incredibly dapper in his smart black suit and blue tie and pockets square, we can't wrap our heads around the connection either.
Taking to Twitter to voice their confusion, one fan wrote: "Wait. Wait. Ricky Martin is at the Royal Wedding?! If he doesn't perform Livin' La Vida Loca or Shake Your Bon-Bon for the first dance, I'll be so disappointed."
Listing the impressive number of celebrity guests, another added: "Liv Tyler, Holly Valance, Demi Moore, Jamie Redknapp, Pixie Geldof, Ellie Goulding, Ricky Martin… this guest list is so random!"
Highlighting the absence of one famous Brit in particular, one Royal fan asked: "BTW, what was Ricky Martin doing there? And where was David Beckham?? Not a Royal Wedding without him…"
Joking that Eugenie's reception is shaking up to be "an early 2000s hit-parade", one fan made reference to the fact that Rock DJ singer Robbie Williams was also in attendance.
Meanwhile, other baffled fans asked why American actress Demi Moore and British model Naomi Campbell were also included on the exclusive guest list.
One wrote: "Someone PLEASE explain to me how Ricky Martin and Naomi Campbell are at the Royal Wedding??"
However, others commended Eugenie for her circle of celebrity friends and were full of praise for her "great guest list".
Posting a black-and-white selfie on Twitter earlier this week, Ricky revealed that he was "London bound" but made no reference to the star-studded affair he planned to attend.
Remaining tight-lipped on the subject of his royal relation to the newlyweds, the noughties pop star posted a photo of the happy couple on Instagram some hours later.
Paying a touching tribute to the couple, Ricky wrote: "'Your wedding day will come and go, but may forever your love grow.' Thank you for making us part of such a special day."
So while we continue trying to put Ricky and Eugenie's connection together in our heads, we can only hope that there was a serious Greatest Hits performance during tonight's wedding reception…
In even more Royal Wedding news, Royal Wedding was split by "too many celebs" who detracted from the bride and groom, says Queen's former aide.
Plus this is the hilarious moment Robbie Williams' cheeky daughter Teddy asks Sarah Ferguson if she's The Queen.
And is Meghan Markle pregnant? Fans flood Twitter and speculate Duchess is expecting after she wears loose-fitting coat to the Royal Wedding.
