Boots UK is set to bring back its massive Advantage Card promotion, where shoppers can pick up 21 points for every pound they spend.
The high street chain originally launched the promotion, which celebrates 21 years of the loyalty card, over the August Bank Holiday, and it is now set to return again from 28 September to 1 October.
But there is a minimum spend, with shoppers needing to spend £50 in store or £60 online during the event to qualify.
The additional points are added automatically to your account, and it’s valid for purchases across all categories including gifts , make up , baby items and electricals .
Customers can use the promotion multiple times as long as their transactions meet the threshold, so it’s perfect for those bulk buying everyday toiletries for the entire family or getting their Christmas shopping done early.
If you are signed up to the Parenting Club or More Treats for Over 60’s Club you will get an extra six points for every £1 spent on qualifying items, bringing total loyalty reward points to 27 for every £1 spend.
Bargain-hunters on Hotukdeals.com have already been sharing details of the latest loyalty card deal online, with many shoppers claiming they will be holding off key purchases to make the most of the event.
Should you sign up for an Advantage Card?
In a word, yes.
If you’re a regular Boots shopper having a card is a no-brainer as you’ll get access to lots of extra savings and perks and earn four points for every £1 spent.
These points can then be redeemed against any future purchases online or in stores. If you don’t have one you can sign up online at boots.com .
If you’re expecting or have any kids under three years-old you can join the Boots parenting club and get personalised extra discounts and savings on baby essentials as well as other top benefits.
Over 60’s are also eligible for the More Treats for Over 60’s Club which has additional perks and discounts off Boots Opticians, invites to exclusive in-store events and more.
