THERE are two types of people in this world – those who crack out their Christmas decorations months beforehand and the others who wait until it's just days away.

As of today, we have exactly four months until the big day – and needless to say, the high street is bringing back festive gonks in a BIG way.

Posting on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, Christmas-mad mums have been showing off their new decorations for 2021.

Kicking off the trend, one woman proudly posted a photo of the HUGE grey gonk she picked up in The Range.

Complete with a knitted white hat and grey slippers, the gonk has fully extendable legs to make it tower over the rest of your decorations.

She wrote: "[I picked up this] Christmas gonk in The Range today.

"It was £29.99 and its legs extend so it’s really tall!"

And this isn't the only option available at The Range – as another mum posted a picture of the two she picked up in her local store.

Doubling up as a advent calendar, the larger £12.99 gonk she bought has a baby pink hat where you can hide sweet treats.

And the smaller £5.99 offering has knitted white-and-brown stripy legs with a grey velvet hat.

Meanwhile, B&M is also getting in on the action with their gonk-inspired range of hotties.

Alerting the group's 1.2m members to the deal, one shopper posted a picture of the pink-and-white one she picked up.

She captioned the post: "Gonk hotties in B & M. They had pink or grey and [they're] £5!"

Tagging a mate in the comments, one fan replied: "Omg!!! If you see one grab one I’ll do same if I see one."

"I need one in my life," another added: "Roll on payday!"

Meanwhile, a third gushed: "This is cute and alsooooo…. this means it'll be time for family Christmas pyjamas again soon!"
