But, sadly, not everyone hit the style mark this evening, with some opting for some bonkers fashion choices.
Katy Perry arrived at tonight's awards in an hour-glass shaped gown by Balmain.
The quirky style featured an over the top, tulle ruffle skirt and a metallic ombre-coloured strapless top.
34-year-old Katy teamed the bonkers gown with asymmetric mismatch earrings and wore her hair slicked back for the occasion.
And the singer wasn't the only one to wear a wacky gown – enter Cardi B.
Known for her quirky take on fashion, Cardi B certainly turned heads this evening, in an OTT black and pink gown which resembled a lotus flower.
The figure hugging design is vintage Thierry Mugler from the designer's 1995 collection.
Embellished with pink and blue roses, Cardi wore matching satin arm-length gloves with a sheer nude bodysuit and towering platform heels.
The fairytale-esque outfit was teamed with an assortment of pearls and jewels and one fan on Twitter compared it to a muffin case.
Other celebs, meanwhile, chose rather daring looks, with Toni Braxton opting for a very sheer style.
The singer wore a sparkly purple, see-through gown for tonight's awards.
And it seems Toni wasn't the only star opting for purple.
Andra Day opted for a bizarre retro look, wearing her hair in a 60s style and dressing in a purple mini dress with feather hem.
The 34-year-old teamed the peculiar look with matching purple stockings and purple velvet platform heels.
And it seems feathers were a trend tonight, with actress Anna Kendrick opting for a pink feathered look.
The ill-fitting strapless gown by Ralph & Russo was cinched-in at the waist with appliqued jewels and the 33-year-old paired it with silver accessories.
Anna wasn't the only one, with Janelle Monae choosing a feathered look too.
The 33-year-old – who performed at tonight's awards – wore a very extravagant, statement piece.
The star wore a design by Jean Paul Gaultier – but we weren't keen on its pointy, OTT shoulders.
Model Heidi Klum also opted for a statement shoulder, arriving at the awards show in a white mini dress by Stephane Rolland.
The dress – which resembled an angel's wings – was compared to a box of tissues by one fan on Twitter.
Also wearing bizarre ruffles was singer Ashanti, who stepped out in an odd gold and black asymmetric gown – with thigh-high slit – which one social media user compared to a leaf.
And the ruffles didn't stop there.
Tayla Parx wore a very peculiar candy pink-coloured ruffle gown.
Teaming the bonkers look with trainers, it's certainly an out there-style and we weren't keen on its ill-fitting design.
St Vincent meanwhile – who won Best Rock Song at tonight's Grammys – wore an unflattering monochrome gown.
The unusual look featured a black and white floral print, layered underneath a cape jacket, tied with an oversized black bow.
Tonight's awards are being hosted by Alicia Keys with live performances from the likes of Cardi B, Post Malone, Kacey Musgraves, H.E.R., Miley Cyrus and Camila Cabello.
2019 is the 61st Grammy Awards, with celebs including Lady Gaga, Drake, Post Malone, Cardi B and Shawn Mendes up for awards.
Gaga has already bagged two Grammys for tracks Shallow and Joanne, which both feature in hit film, A Star Is Born, featuring Bradley Cooper.
