A HAIR expert has revealed her top tip for ensuring your curls hold for up for two days – using a cheap product you most likely already have.
Yana Udaltsova, who runs popular hair hack TikTok account @yanaudaltsova, posted a video showing how she secures her locks with mousse, before curling with a Dyson Airwrap.
Yana describes the method as “literally a GAMECHANGER”, and explains: “You finally learned to use hair mousse before curling with dyson airwrap and your curls last for 48 hours.”
She then demonstrates the easy method that uses hair mousse, which you can buy for as cheap as 99p,
She begins by squirting a generous amount of mousse into her hand as she prepares to style it.
Then, Yana applies it liberally to her hair, concentrating particularly on the mid-length down to the ends.

However, Yana does then work some into her roots as she tells her followers: “Make sure you use a lot and ALL OVER.”
Next, she takes her curling tong and begins working on each section of her hair until it is all fully styled.
Once both sides and the back are curled, she sprays her hair with a strong hairspray, as a further protection on top of the mousse she has already applied.
Then she’s left with salon style hair that she says will stay in for two days and still look fresh.

When one of her followers said they’d have to try the mousse method for themselves, Yana replied: “This literally makes mine stay for so long!!”
She also offered another top tip, saying the process should be done on dry hair.

“You won’t even notice it’s in there but it makes a huge difference.”
