MILLIONS of homeowners are struggling to make ends meet this year with rising costs amid inflation.
But mom-of-two Chantel Mila has shared three easy tricks that not only make your property smell nice, but also keep the cash in the wallet.
In a TikTok video that’s gone viral, Mila recommended vacuuming air conditioner filters.
She added several droplets of essential oil to give them some “hidden fragrance”.
The influencer placed some ground coffee in a bowl and put a tea light inside.
She told her fans that the candle heats the coffee, generating a warm smell.

Mila described the scent as “incredible” as she raved over the cheap trick.
And, the thrifty parent created her own air freshener that can be sprayed around the home.
Her recipe consists of a cup of water, a tablespoon of rubbing oil, and essential oil.
Mila claimed: “This air freshener makes your home smell amazing.”

Fans raved over the influencer’s coffee bean hack as they described her tips as “great”.
One fan simply posted: “The coffee tip omg.”
Another admitted that they couldn’t “wait” to try the cost-effective hacks.
Other cleaning fanatics recommended that Mila shouldn’t clean her air conditioning filters using a vacuum amid fears that they could be damaged.
But, some savvy TikTokers suggested adding fruit peel and a cinnamon stick to a pot of boiling water if she wanted to create an aroma for her home.
Mila is known for her offering her million followers cleaning advice online.
She shared a series of little-known hacks for petrolheads so they can keep their car looking fresh.
If you want that "fresh car feeling", the first step is to clean the cup holders.
And the best way to do this is by adding a microfibre cloth to a water bottle and spraying the bottom of it with a cleaner, according to the mom.
She used a thin scrubbing brush to get down the sides of the seats and in other small crevices.
The texture of the brush bristles will be able to pick up any dirt or hair.
She also suggested hoovering the seats before wiping them down with a cleaner.
Mila also advised putting a towel on the seats once they've been cleaned to keep them fresher for longer.

She also created a solution consisting of 50 per cent water and 50 per cent cleaning vinegar to clean car windows.
