Despite royal women wearing tights as a matter of protocol, both Ivanka and Melania appeared to shun the item, choosing bare legs instead.
Yesterday, Ivanka posted an image of herself outside the V&A museum as she enjoyed some sightseeing on her first day in the capital.
Posing with a friend in green, Ivanka wore a vibrant yellow dress from Les Reveries, £590. She teamed this with a pair of bright blue court shoes.
The dress was fitted at the waist and came down past Ivanka’s knees.
Large puffball details on the sleeve gave the otherwise classic item a modern, cool edge.
Ivanka kept her eyes covered with a pair of dark sunglasses, and brown leather handbag could be seen swung over her shoulder.
Melania, meanwhile, opted for a navy skirt suit for her first moments on British soil today.
The First Lady was compared to a flight attendant in her outfit, which included a silk shirt from Burberry £650.
One commenter wrote: “I thought she was one of the flight attendants.”
Another joked: “Nice to see @FLOTUS doubling up as an air hostess today.”
And another questioned: “Did Trump make Melania work as an air hostess to pay for her flight over here?”
