Kendall Jenner opted for two racy, backside-bearing looks at the Met Gala last night, which honoured the late Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld.
The member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, infamous for their behinds, wore a sheer sequin body suit with a black thong over the top for the evening’s after-party.
The look was inspired by a vintage Chanel piece from the brand’s spring/summer 1994 collection, an homage to Lagerfeld, famous for his designs and his problematic opinions on the Holocaust and Adele’s weight.
However, this new piece was actually created by London designer Nensi Dojaka.
The 27-year-old Kardashian wore the look with black sandals, a silver clutch and her hair swept back, exposing huge diamond earrings.
It was the second look of the night for Jenner, who wore another risqué look earlier on the red carpet.
The model, who is also the founder of 818 Tequila brand, wore a Marc Jacobs look.
The black sequin body suit featured long trailing arms and a collar. She paired the suit with black boots and Lorraine Schwartz jewellery.
On the carpet last night Kenner told the host: “I feel amazing, I’m so happy to be here.
“It’s a little emotional. I owe a lot to [Lagerfeld] and what he did for me. I started working with him when I was really young and really new, and he really embraced me.”
Instagram users on the fan account Kenny’s Closet, which has 480,000 followers, commented on the look.
One user Charlie Van Pop wrote: “Looks stupid and trashy af! And don’t let me get started on those ugly boots. Wtf.”
Another wrote: “Trying out for Disney??? Wtf she wears the UGLIEST stuff.”
“It looks like she regrets it a lot haha,” another wrote.
Others, though, disagreed and liked the look. One wrote: “I think she really nailed this theme.”
Another commented: “Ate. Her legs look insane. It’s nice to see something different from her for once.”
