Queen feels ‘monumentally let down’ by Meghan Markle & Prince Harry who is ‘behaving like a teenager’, insider claims

THE Queen feels “monumentally let down” by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry following their decision to step down as senior royals, a source has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex, who announced the couple’s plan in a statement over Instagram last week, is “behaving like a teenager” according to the insider.

Speaking to Vanity Fair’s royal correspondent Katie Nicholl, they said: “After everything she has done for Harry she feels monumentally let down.”

They continue: “The family are all very upset at how the Sussexes have behaved, not least because of the impact it has had on the Queen, who has a very frail husband, the whole Andrew problem to deal with and now Harry, who is frankly behaving like a bolshie teenager.”

The source went on to say that Harry has left his grandmother to “pick up the pieces” following his decision.

“What was once a very warm and jokey grandmother grandson rapport has dissipated” they said.

Last week Meghan and Prince Harry revealed they will now be splitting their time between the UK and North America.

While the Duchess of Sussex has fled the UK for Canada, the Duke, 35, has been left to pick up the pieces and will be locked in crunch talks with the Queen at Sandringham today.

He is reportedly torn over the idea of severing ties with the royals completely as he and Meghan work to become "financially independent".

Her Majesty also aims to sort the Sussexes’ roles, and Meghan, 38, could join in via conference call.

The couple could use the TV threat to try to secure a better deal at the Sandringham talks.

Sources reveal the couple may make the move to LA if Trump isn't in power after it emerged they will be "stepping back" from their royal duties in the UK.

They are reportedly considering a move to LA and Toronto, as well as Vancouver Island where they spent the holidays in a luxury waterfront mansion.

In other royal news, we told you how Meghan fans are rallying to support the duchess by buying her Together cookbook.
