COULD a £13 hair treatment from Superdrug give you salon worthy tresses?
These days, long hair can be hard to keep looking healthy – heated appliances and colour treatments can leave locks dry and damaged.
- The Knight & Wilson Pureplex Hair Repair System, £12.99 at Superdrug – buy now
Models and celebs alike are no strangers to having their hair constantly styled and coloured and have long sworn by the salon treatment Olaplex to keep their locks looking healthy.
Kim Kardashian even credits the treatment for keeping her hair in prime condition and it is now widely available in many salons – but can be costly.
With some salons charging around £50 for the "miracle" treatment, it doesn't come cheap – but Superdrug now offer a rival product at a snip of the price.
The Knight & Wilson Pureplex Hair Repair System, £12.99, is a four part system which doesn’t just moisturise the hair, but actually repairs the damage, giving hair not just a healthy makeover but a youth boost.

Meg Potter, Superdrug head of beauty said: “Masks and conditioners are great to give a temporary effect on the hair but Pureplex is different because it works from the inside and actually repairs the damage.
“We’ve had customers leaving five star reviews on our website telling us how it has made such a difference to their hair and we’re rushing more stock to stores to meet demand.”
Knight & Wilson founder, Lee Bannister, said: “Our Pureplex Hair Repair treatment took two years to create and we’re thrilled that customers love it as much as we do. Our aim is to offer our customers professional quality hair products at purse-friendly prices, so we knew we wanted to create an at home version of the expensive salon treatments that celebrities love.”
