Before heading out to Kourtney’s epic 40th birthday bash, Kim snapped a pic in her closet of her vintage Versace look, which first debuted on the runway in 1997.
The reality star has no shortage of behind-the-scenes fashion photos. “I have fitting pics for days 🎀,” Kim captioned a shot while wearing the sparkling vintage Versace mini she donned at the label’s N.Y.C. fashion show in December 2018.
Surrounded among her hundreds of designer handbags and shoes, Kim posed in her etheral Rick Owens gown while getting fitted before debuting the look at the Tiffany Blue Book party in October 2018.
It took a massive team of pros to get Kim into a statuesque-like vintage Thierry Mugler gown from the label’s “Les méduses” collection from Fall/Winner 1999/2000.
After Kim posted this pic of a metallic gold gown Kanye made for her, which she ultimately chose not to wear (yet!), the star begged fast fashion brands not to knock it off. “P.S. fast fashion brands, can you please wait until I wear this in real life before you knock it off? ,” she jokingly wrote on Instagram.
But sadly for Kim, some brands just don’t want to wait. “The devil works hard but Missguided works harder 👀 @kimkardashian you’ve only got a few days before this drops online,” online fashion retailer Missguided replied only two hours after Kim shared her photo.
If there’s one designer Kim almost just as much time decked out in other than her husband’s Yeezy creations, it’s Versace (which she’s trying on in this throwback fitting pic).
Three months after the Kardashian-Jenner sisters broke the internet with their spot-on Victoria’s Secret Angels Halloween costume, Kim revealed what her outfit might have looked like had she gone with what she wore in the fitting.
Kim posed among a lineup of expensive-looking clothes inside her closet wearing what looks to be head-to-toe Yeezy during her “morning fitting.”
No one loves a sheer, nearly-naked dress more than Kim, who flaunted her curves in this see-through design as she was getting fitted.
After scrolling through her phone, Kim came across this fitting photo, which she admits she actually liked more than the final look.
“Funny when I look through my phone and find old fitting pics, sometimes the fittings look better then the actual final look 😱 lol,” she wrote.
Kim famously uses body doubles for fittings so she doesn’t have to try the clothes on herself, but on this occasion the star (in an Off-White c/o Virgil Abloh dress) had to be the fit model herself.
Just four days after swearing off selfies, Kim broke her own rule as the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star posted a revealing snap inside her closet during a apparent fitting.
More than two years after stunning in this ethereal Vivienne Westwood creation at an international Vogue Festival, the star shared this photo from her London fitting with the designer.
A year before iconic fashion designer Azzedine Alaïa’s passing, Kim visited his Paris atelier for a personal couture fitting.
The reality star paid tribute to the late designer by sharing a photo from that day on Instagram writing, “Simply the best! No one like you! It was an honor to know you. You will be missed so greatly! Rest In Peace Mr. Alaïa”
