Amanda Holden floors fans with sweet snap as she poses with lookalike daughters

Amanda Holden has taken to social media to praise her lookalike daughters for "not moaning too much" during coronavirus lockdown.

The Britain's Got Talent judge, who turns 50 next week, logged into her Instagram account on Wednesday to share a stunning black and white snap of her and her girls; Lexi, 15, and nine-year-old Hollie.

Amanda smiles proudly for the camera while sitting on a wooden perch in between her daughters while out in the countryside.

The actress donned a black cut-out dress and a pair of tights for the photo, taken from a photoshoot for her album Songs From My Heart.

She styled her trademark blonde tresses in loose curls, while her mini-me daughters, who she shares with husband Chris Hughes, left their hair down and natural.

The mother of two penned alongside the photograph: "So proud of my gorgeous girls during this lockdown. Not too much moaning" alongside a crying laughing face emoji.

She continued: "Saluting parents and guardians everywhere who are doing their best in this trying time" and ended her caption with a red love heart emoji.

Unsurprisingly, Amanda's latest Instagram grid update caught the attention of her 1.6million followers, with some rushing to the comment section to point out how much her daughters look like her.

One fan penned: "They are both very cute, look like Mom."

A second follower gushed: "Am I seeing triple? You all look the same."

Another added: "Gorgeous like their momma."

While a fourth social media user wrote: "You daughters are beautiful like you."

Amanda has been juggling homeschooling her daughters as well as presenting her Heart Radio Breakfast Show Monday to Friday.

It's been a busy year for Amanda even though she's not been able to judge Britain's Got Talent after the ITV flagship show was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

She managed to have a strong 2020 in which she launched her debut album, Songs From My Heart.

The record, which was released in October, was even named the biggest-selling and highest-charting debut by a female artist in 2020.

It was announced last month that Britain's Got Talent will not take place in 2021.

ITV said it was pulling the show in order to safeguard "the wellbeing and health of every person involved in the programme".

A spokesperson said: "Despite everyone at ITV, Thames and Syco doing their best to make it happen, and with our absolute priority of safeguarding the wellbeing and health of every person involved in the programme, from judges, hosts and contestants to all of the crew and audience, the decision has been made to, unfortunately, move the record and broadcast of the 15th series of Britain's Got Talent to 2022."
