Amanda Holden thrills BGT fans in white mesh evening dress slashed to her thigh

Amanda Holden is bringing the sparkle to this year's Britain's Got Talent : Christmas Spectacular, donning a floor-length glittering gown.

Ahead of the festive premiere, the BGT judge, 49, shared a snap of one of her looks from the show, striking a pose on the edge of a blue velvet row of seating.

Featuring sheer sleeves, beaded embroidery and a fitted bodice, Amanda worked a sensational gown by bridal label Pronovias.

The dress fell open at the knees, cut in an elegant splayed style, and was finished off with a Victorian-inspired neckline.

Amanda paired the frock with a pair of silver stilettos, her blonde locks curled into waves and her lips painted a shade of nude.

In her caption, the mum-of-two urged fans to tune in to the BGT Christmas special, which will be hitting our screens on December 25.

She said: "Taking a moment. I think you're going to love @bgt on Christmas."

As usual, the comment section below was flooded with words of praise, as Amanda's devoted fanbase rushed to fawn over the elegant ensemble.

One said: "Can't wait to watch this on Christmas day and hear you sing and wow you look absolutely stunning."

"This dress" swooned another, and a third chimed: "I'm so excited!!"

Amanda will be performing during the Christmas Spectacular, singing Home For Christmas in collaboration with 2014 winners Collabro.

The songstress won't be the only judge taking to the stage – Ashley Banjo, Alesha Dixon, and David Williams are each lined up to perform.

Mr Williams is fronting a hilarious sketch titled Comedy Christmas Calendar, acting alongside the likes of Francine Lewis, Lost Voice Guy, Steve Royle and Robert White.

Next up, 2017 winner Tokio Myers will play the piano while Alesha sings a breathtaking rendition of the classic hit Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.

And, the latest addition to the judging panel – none other than Ashley Banjo – is hitting the stage with his dance crew Diversity and season two winner George Sampson.

Don't miss it!

Britain's Got Talent: Christmas Spectacular will air at 8pm on Christmas Day on ITV.
