Britney Spears was verbally abused by her father who called her "fat", an "w***e" and a "terrible mother", a friend has claimed.
Jacqueline Butcher, a friend of the family, has come out and alleged that 68-year-old Jamie Spears – the family patriarch – "taunted" his daughter Britney about her weight and called her foul names when she first entered the conservatorship back in 2008.
In June, 39-year-old Britney broke her silence in court during a heated battle over the conservatorship which has been ongoing for 13 years, claiming to be a victim of "abuse" due to the legal agreement and that her dad should be put "behind bars".
Jacqueline Butcher spoke to the New Yorker about the alleged cruel behaviour from Britney's dad Jamie – saying she felt "sick" over his comments.
Jacqueline claimed she was present on one of the first days Britney was released from hospital and was spending time with Britney and her mum Lynne.
She claimed: "What he [Jamie] said was ‘You’re fat. Daddy’s gonna get you on a diet and a trainer, and you’re gonna get back in shape.’"
She went on to allege that Jamie became aggressive with his daughter.
Jacqueline claimed: "He would get all in her face, spittle was flying, telling her she was a w***e and a terrible mother.

Britney Spears' plea to remove dad Jamie from conservatorship denied by judge
"Spears was told that she could see her kids again only if she cooperated. Lynne was just, like, ‘Obey Daddy and they’ll let you out.’"
Britney entered into the conservatorship back in 2008 when she was committed to a psychiatric hospital for the second time – giving her dad Jamie control of her personal and business affairs.
It has also been reported Britney called the emergency services to report herself as a victim of conservatorship abuse just hours before appearing in court on June 23 to request an end to it.
Britney claimed she has "no privacy" under the current rules and isn't even allowed to have a door on her bedroom.
Allegations also included that she is "forced" to keep an IUD inside her body which prevents her from having children, despite her wanting to expand her family.
In the bombshell court hearing, Britney said: "The main reason why I'm here is because I want to end the conservatorship without being evaluated."
However, Mr Spears' lawyers have denied he was responsible for the restrictions placed upon her private life, and they have requested an inquiry into Britney's testimony.
Jamie has also not been in control of her personal affairs since September 2019 when he stepped down from the role due to ill health, and was replaced by Jodi Montgomery, the singer's care-giver.

Slamming her dad, she then went as far as to say: "My dad and anyone involved in this conservatorship, including my management … they should be in jail."
The songstress also revealed she wants to "get married and have a baby" but has not been allowed to do so under the rules.
She added: "I have an IUD inside of myself so that I don’t get pregnant, but [my team doesn’t] want me to have any more children."
After the court hearing, it was decided by the appointed judge that Jamie would remain Britney's conservator despite her request for his removal.
Daily Star has contacted Jamie Spears' representatives for comment.
