Coronation Street star Jane Danson has offered her congratulations to hubby Robert Beck for his new job.
But the role is not just a typical role – it is a position on rival ITV soap Emmerdale.
Beck's return to the soap was confirmed on Tuesday (August 1), when ITV announced that Robert would make a comeback to the soap.

However, despite having appeared in the soap before, Robert will play a new character called Harry.
ITV also revealed that Harry will have feature heavily in the current storyline involving Caleb Milligan and Nate Robinson.
Danson, who plays Leanne Battersby on the Salford-based show, paid tribute to her husband of 18 years on a sweet Instagram post.
"Happy birthday my love @robertbeck529 and congratulations on your Emmerdale return," Jane wrote.
"I owe Emmerdale a lot – 24 years of us – I love you darling".
She included a picture of the pair smiling in the sun, with a beautiful sun kissed glow.
Beck himself said he was "thrilled" to be returning to the ITV soap. He declared that Emmerdale was "a great show", paying tribute to the "fabulous cast".
He previously took on the role of Gavin Ferris, who first appeared in the village in 1999.
Gavin appeared on the show for a total of 29 episodes before leaving the soap that same year.
But it was in that time that Beck was able to meet wife Jane during the British Soap Awards in 1999.
He added: "I'm looking forward to getting involved and to working with such a great bunch again".
The pair also have been able to make their marriage work due to similar career paths and schedules.
Speaking to Digital Spy, Jane opened up about her relationship to Robert: "The good thing about it is that we both get soaps, and we both understand the schedule.
"Sometimes things change, sometimes he might be in early and sometimes he might be in late. So we just kind of got our diaries out together and kind of planned our week".
