Meanwhile her mum stood behind her flaunting her luscious brunette locks which tumbled over her shoulders.
Holding up her hand to the camera slightly, Katie showed off her manicured nails and her ring on her finger, while Emily kept her look simple and could be seen wearing a white top for the mother-daughter selfie.
Emily is Kate's eldest daughter and she also shares children Martha and George with her ex-husband Keith Atack.
The former Inbetweeners actress and her mother share a close bond and regularly appear alongside each other at public events and on TV appearances.
Before Emily's career began to really take off, Kate had a lengthy career of her own in showbusiness and had continued to appear on television screens across the nation today.
Kate first rose to fame in 1980 and enjoyed life as a popstar when she achieve a top ten hit with the song More Than in Love.
In addition to this, she also enjoyed a turn at Eurovision as part of the UK's 1980 entry with the group Prima Donna.
The pop group came a respectable third place in the competition, further propelling Kate and cementing her in the entertainment industry.
She later went on to join the soap Crossroads and release a full-length solo album.
In more recent times, Kate has continued to make a slew of acting appearances.
She has also been a TV host and a guest on a number of TV shows including Richard Osman's House of Games.
But it seems showbiz runs in the family as Emily's aunt, has recently joined the cast of ITV soap Coronation Street as Daisy Midgeley's mother.
