Emmerdale actress Michelle Hardwick has announced she's pregnant with her second child.

The 46-year-old soap star is already a proud mum to her young son Edward, whom she shares with her Emmerdale producer wife Kate Brooks.

However, she was delighted to announce the pair are welcoming a gorgeous new baby to their brood, meaning they'll soon be a family of four.

Michelle took to Instagram on Thursday (July 21) to share the exciting baby update with her fans – where she admitted she could almost fit a mug of tea on her blossoming bump.

She shared an adorable snap of little Edward smiling by a large TV screen which had the words: "COMING THIS WINTER… Baby Brooks #2"

The exciting baby update was playfully displayed in huge pink letters, just like a trailer for a new blockbuster film.

She wrote in the caption: "We are super excited about our gorgeous news! I’m 20 weeks today and can almost rest a cup of tea on my bump,"
