Gemma Collins and James Argent's relationship has had more than enough twists and turns to pack a ten-series TOWIE boxset.
It is now said the couple are back together again after splitting in the summer last year following a series of furious rows.
Gemma and her ex have reportedly grown close again after he reached out to her following her family heartache and to celebrate her 40th birthday.
Arg has been a great comfort to The GC as her dad battled for his life in hospital after being struck down with Covid-19.
In turn, Gemma has been there to hold his hand as he opened up to the world about the true extent of his weight problems.
They are the ultimate on-off showbiz couple, as fans hope this time it's for keeps as Gemma has shared her desire to finally become a mum.
But will the reality stars get their happy ending as they reunite once again?
Daily Star Online has taken a close look at their relationship timeline as we find out more about the pair's turbulent past.
Cheating accusations and first split
The couple first got together at the start of TOWIE, shortly after Arg split from his long-term girlfriend Lydia Bright.
Despite the pair being close friends when they got together, the pair had a very fiery romance both on and off camera.
In April 2012, the cracks started to appear.
A few months into their relationship, Arg was pictured leaving nightclub Faces with best pal and TOWIE cohort Mark Wright – and two stunning girls.
Gemma, who later deleted the message, called him out on Twitter, saying: “You slept with someone else last night you disgust me you cheat” – but they were back together within days.
Four months later, Gemma threw him properly for the first time.
While on holiday in Marbella, she found out he had been talking about her behind her back.
It provoked her famous TOWIE line: "Let me tell you something, you don't ever disrespect a girl like that. Take a good look at this, you ain't ever gonna get this candy!"
Lydia Bright love triangle
Two's company, three's a crowd as we all know.
Arg and Lydia Bright first got together in 2008, and were one of the show's power couples before she eventually dumped him.
However, the pair reunited several times, which led to several awkward overlaps to his on/off romance with Gemma.
When Gemma found out he slept with her on the same day he got with Lydia, she hit the roof.
So in 2016, James was dumped again.
This time he had to wait a little longer to get back with her and Gemma's popularity began to soar.
A Christmas smacker!
The TOWIE Christmas special 18 months later saw them officially reunited at last as Arg declared his love for her with a heartfelt speech in front of all of their friends.
Gemma was won over but his public appeal and they celebrated with a kiss, thrilling millions of viewers at home.
They lasted another year without a break-up but the next day of drama was always not too far away.
Furious rows and rehab stint
Compared to his list of love crimes, this wasn't likely to hand him a ten-year stretch.
But furious Gemma dumps Arg for posting video of her snoring in February 2019.
It then turned totally toxic as he reportedly sent her messages saying: "You are a fat joke of a woman. You fat horrible lump. You’ve got more rolls than Greggs."
Weeks later they were back together but Gemma walked out again in October 2019.
The reality star had been secretly battling a dependence to drugs, which created a wedge between him and Gemma.
Fearing drugs would end up killing him, she called it a day – and eventually he got help after finally seeing the light about his addiction.
After a ten-week stint in rehab, Arg is sober and even managed to lose five stone.
Open relationship request… denied!
After they reunited once again, Arg threw another spanner in the works as he told Gemma he wanted to see other women but still stay together and it provoked an almighty row.
Private messages between the pair were later posted on Gemma's Instagram as she revealed what she had to deal with behind closed doors.
Cruelly it showed Arg calling her “a hippo” and a “fat f**k”.
Gemma later posted on Instagram urging her followers to “find the strength to walk away” as she shared the “Top 10 Signs of Emotional Abuse In A Relationship".
Back for good?
Earlier this month the pair were officially back together after their six month break.
They started to get friendly again before the latest lockdown, and when Gemma's dad got ill he was a shoulder to cry on.
One report even claimed marriage is kids could be on the cards.
