X Factor heartthrob Sam Callahan has recalled an alleged disagreement he once had with The Only Way Is Essex star Gemma Collins.

Speaking exclusively in a Facebook Live interview with the Daily Star, Sam reflected on one alleged argument with the GC that he’ll never forget.

He claimed he remembered having a "good argument" with Gemma about a parking space and retold told the so-called incident, which he labelled “funny”.

He said: "I live in Brentwood, Essex, which is obviously TOWIE land, and she used to have a shop on the high street I used to park round the back of because it’s next to where my apartment was."

The singer claimed: “One day I parked there and she said: ‘You can’t park here,’ and I was like: ‘Yes, I can.’

"She then replied: ‘This is my car park,’ I was like: ‘Right, this is nobody’s car park, this is the council’s car park. You can’t call this your car park, Gemma. You can have that space, I’m not going to park in your space,’ do one, basically.”

Sam laughed as he recalled the alleged discussion and said the pair had a “little barney” about the parking space, which made him “laugh”.

He noted: “I remember walking away from it and I was like: ‘I’ve just had a row with Gemma Collins!"

Sam knew Gemma before their conversation because during his time on X Factor, people “meet a lot of these people” at PR events.

He fondly remembered the The Only Way Is Essex cast came to watch one of the live X Factor shows whilst he was on the programme.

Sam joked that she was “much nicer the first time” he met her because he “wasn’t parked somewhere she didn’t like”.

The former X Factor contestant smiled and closed out the interview by addressing his career “regrets”.

He said that “doing too much of the fake stuff” gave him a “learning curve” throughout his time on the show and said that when entering the industry, people “don’t get a warm up” and they have to “learn as they go”.

He called fame a “difficult thing to navigate” because “you’re being watched 24/7, by everybody” so there’s some “minor mistakes” he may have made, but none that he would label as regrets.

Daily Star has contacted Gemma's spokesman for a comment.
