As the winners are announced for this year’s Mirror People’s Pet Awards, the ceremony salutes pets who have overcome impossible odds.

The awards recognise heroic and inspiring pets which have helped millions throughout the Covid pandemic.

From rescue cats and dogs who inspire everyone they meet to other furry friends who have saved lives.

To honour these inspiration pets, a string of celebs showed up in support of the cause.

From Love Island’s Faye Winter to stand-up comedian and presenter Judi Love and soap star Natalia Anderson, these stars looked paws-itively fabulous.

Natalie Anderson

Hollyoaks hottie Natalie Anderson put her endless pins on display at the pet-themed party wearing a figure-hugging black blazer dress that showed off her stunning figure.

The 40-year-old actress, who previously appeared in Emmerdale, rocked the business-casual look as she walked the red carpet, accessorising with a small black clutch and sky-high stilettos.

She finished off her polished look with a sleek, straight hairstyle.

The star looked unrecognisable from her alter-ego Lexi, who she currently plays on the Channel 4 soap.

Judi Love

Stand-up comedian and presenter Judi Love turned up to host the prize pooches wearing a show-stopping sequin dress that accentuated her killer curves.

The wrap-around navy frock boasted a modest plunging neckline and draped down to her knees as she flaunted a red-carpet ready pair of stilettos.

Glam drop earrings and dramatic makeup helped polish her bold look as she shot a beaming smile at the cameras before the event.

The Loose Women presenter, 41, was clearly still inspired from the dazzling costumes she was wearing as a contestant on the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing.

Lucrezia Millarini

Journalist Lucrezia Millarini brought the ultimate accessory onto the red carpet when she showed up with her beloved pooch.

The fury pup was dressed for the occasion wearing a tuxedo shirt a bow tie bib, as the TV broadcaster let him take centre stage for the cameras.

Not wanting to be totally upstaged by her furry friend, the 45-year-old newsreader also wowed on the red carpet wearing a dazzling shiny silver frock.

The knee-length dress hugged her fabulous figure and she polished off the look with a pair of strappy black heels and perfectly tousled brown locks.

Charlotte Hawkins

Good Morning Britain beauty Charlotte Hawkins didn’t disappoint when she wowed in a shimmering pink and black gown.

The 46-year-old presenter channelled classic elegance in the A-line frock as she posed for cameras on the red carpet.

She wore her blonde tresses down in loose curls and rocked her go-to makeup combo – a pearlescent shadow, soft rosy blusher and a high-shine pinklip gloss to match.

She showed off her beloved pooch who joined her at the bash.

The star is known for her elegant dress choices having recently wowed in a beautiful blue fit-and-flare dress that many compared to Duchess Kate Middleton’ stimeless look.

Faye Winter and Teddy Soares

Love Island couple certainly dressed to impress at the Daily Mirror People's Pet Awards 2021.

The reality TV duo donned matching outfits as they posed for the cameras at the star-studded event at Grosvenor House Hotel on Thursday evening.

Teddy, who is set to bare all on ITV's Strictly Full Monty next week, donned a smart blue and grey jacket and girlfriend Faye wore the exact same print as trousers.

The estate agent paired her patterned bottoms with a crisp white crop top which showed off her toned midrif.

Faye styled her hair in loose curls and enhanced her beauty with glam makeup as she graced the red carpet with Teddy and a guide dog.

Olivia and Alex Bowen

Proud dog owner Olivia and Alex Bowen flashed huge grins on the red carpet.

Blonde bombshell Olivia donned a blue blazer-style minidress which showed off her never-ending legs.

While hunky Alex donned an all-black attire with jacket, a turtle-neck number and smart trousers.

The married couple decided to leave their fur babies Winnie and Reggie at home.

The two French bulldogs often appear on the pair's social media accounts.
