Hollyoaks’ Katie McGlynn’s hottest pics – plunging dress to transparent jumpsuit

Katie McGlynn was previously known for playing Jodie "Scout" Allen in Waterloo Road and Sinead Tinker in Coronation Street.

Most recently she joined the Hollyoaks cast having worked with the show's producer years before, on the set of Waterloo Road.

Katie shared her excitement for bagging the new role on social media.

She uploaded a picture of her standing next to a 'Welcome to Hollyoaks Village' sign.

The TV star added an emotional caption: "When I first read the script, I knew instantly that this storyline was an important one, and something that I could really sink my teeth into."

She added, "I’m so excited for everyone to meet Becky and am thrilled to be working alongside the amazing cast and crew of Hollyoaks, especially the shows producer Lucy, who I previously worked with at the beginning of my acting career on Waterloo Road – so it’s lovely to be working with her again 10 years on…⁣

"The whole team couldn’t have been anymore welcoming so far and I’m hopeful the story will have an impact on the viewers as it covers some extremely current and important issues!

"I’m super humbled to continue doing the work I love and hope everyone enjoys watching it all unfold as much as I’ve enjoyed filming it so far…. get your popcorn ready!"

The Rochdale sweetheart also isn't afraid to show off her stunning looks on her Instagram page.

Posting to over 300,000 followers, Katie regularly posts and poses for the camera.

She recently did a photoshoot with the Sun on Sunday. Katie looked drop-dead gorgeous in a gold full-length ball gown and flashed some serious leg.

The ex-Corrie star sent her fans wild as she completed the look with three simple gold necklaces and a few large gold rings.

Although Covid has stopped many of us from being able to get dressed up, Katie embraced any opportunity to get into some glam.

For the BAFTA awards last July, Katie dressed in a low-cut sparkling red gown with a sheer finish.

With matching red nail varnish, Katie looked stunning despite watching the ceremony from home.

The TV star also posts frequently about her work with Mummy's Star, a cancer support group.

Mummy's Star provides cancer support in and around pregnancy, and Katie is a patron.

Katie is also a fan of TikTok and has posted about her life in TV.

The beautiful brunette looks miles different from her days as Waterloo Road scruffy student, Scout.

She recently uploaded a transformation video with the caption, "Remember Jodie 'Scout' Allen from Waterloo Road!? This is her now."

The video showed some of her most memorable scenes on the hit BBC show, including some heartbreaking moments from her troubling storyline.

The clip then cut to Katie showing off her stunning hair and make-up in present day. She looks hardly recognisable from the scruffy teen we watched on our screens.

The actress also posted a video documenting the reality of day-to-day life being an influencer.

The video showed her frequently messing up her lines and swearing. She captioned the video, "Influencer outtakes, apologies for the swearing!"

The actress isn't afraid to make bold choices when it comes to her looks. She's dyed her hair on several occasions a number of different colours including bright pink, platinum bond and silver.

In one TikTok video, Katie showed her transition from bleach blond hair to bright pink. She matched her pink hair with a pink floral outfit and immaculate make-up.

Katie has loved taking part in her various TV ventures and has often opened up about how lucky she has felt in her career.

Speaking about her time on Coronation Street, Katie said: "I always feel so privilege and humbled to have been a small part of a massive incredible show!"

Katie's character, Sinead, died in 2019 following a heartbreaking cervical cancer storyline.

After six years on the show, Katie left to pursue other career options.

Although happy with her Hollyoaks gig, Katie previously said her decision 'backfired' when her career stalled after leaving the cobbled streets of Corrie.

In an interview with The Sun, Katie said: "I put all my energy into the universe, expecting amazing big things, and then it all backfired.

"It's disheartening, and over the past 12 months I've been very up and down."

In her latest role as Becky, on Hollyoaks, the actress said she's "massively" different from Sinead, her old character on Corrie.

In an interview with Inside Soap, Katie said: "That was my main concern. I didn't want her to be like Sinead and she isn't. Who would want to keep playing the same character? Becky's fun to play so far, I'm enjoying it."
