Joss Stone may not have been near the top of the charts for 17 years but that didn't stop her earning £500,000 in 2019.
The Masked Singer champion is back in the public eye after being unmasked as the singing Sausage on Saturday night.
Many were shocked the pregnant US-based star agreed to do the ITV hit show.
But she certainly doesn't need the money, if her accounts are anything to go by.
Her firm Joss Ltd, which takes in cash from her record sales, showed that she paid more than £93,000 in Corporation Tax in 2019.
That means the star still earned around £500,000 in that 12 months period, The Sun claim.
Since her wildly popular 2004 album Mind, Body and Soul, shot to number one, Joss has released seven studio albums.
Her last, Water For The Soul, only charted at number 13 in 2015.
That was the latest album the singer put out but she still earned plenty from her previous work.
The Masked Singer finale was watched by an average audience of 8.6million viewers, figures show.
That's the biggest live audience for any programme so far this year, outside of news and sport.
It attracted 2.2m more viewers than last year's final.
When quizzed why she decided to take part in the show, soul singer Joss said: "Why not? Life can be too serious.
"We should just dress up in chips and sausage and have a sing-song!
"This has been the funnest, most hilarious job I have ever had. I have laughed so much.''
Joss has meanwhile told Joe Swash to apologise to his fiancée Stacey Solomon for accusing her of being Sausage.
Stacey, 31, revealed last week that her partner 'wasn’t speaking to her' because he was angry that she hadn’t told him she was on the show.
She said: “I wanted to make a quick message for Joe… What’s his last name? Joe Swash.
“I believe you have some apologising to do to Stacey, so get to it – get those flowers!”
Stacey shared the video to her own social media page, writing: “What a legend. Love you.”
