Joey Fatone had an extra special person in his cheering section last weekend: his elder daughter.
Opening up about how much it meant to him to not only be able to reunite with his ‘NYSNC bandmates during Ariana Grande’s Coachella set, Fatone, 42, revealed that he got pretty emotional.
“It was really cool. I did get a little teary-eyed, I’m not going to lie,” he told Entertainment Tonight, adding that what made the moment even more special was being able to share it with his 18-year-old daughter Briahna.
“She was Snapchatting and she was screaming like, ‘Go Daddy! ” he shared. “I was like, ‘Oh my God, it’s so beautiful.’ It was cool to see her see that.”
Joining him and his daughter, Fatone also brought along girlfriend Izabel Araujo for the trip.
Following the performance, Fatone went on to share a group photograph that featured Grande, 25, his bandmates, Araujo, and his daughter, who stood in the very front of the group, wearing a black bra top with a pair of camo pants.
“One for the books ! And good times by all !” he captioned the snap.

Araujo went on to share her own collection of images from the trip, including several of her and Fatone posing with Briahna.
“Thank you @arianagrande 🙏🏽 for bringing these boys back out,” she wrote alongside the slideshow. “So happy to have been there to support the boys @nsync YOU GUYS ROCKED!!!”
Fatone also shares daughter Kloey Alexandra, 9, with high-school sweetheart Kelly Baldwin, from whom he has since split.
Although Grande will be returning to Indio, California, again for the second weekend of Coachella, Fatone went on to share that ‘NSYNC won’t be joining her.
“She just wanted to do it this weekend,” he told ET, adding that he had a “blast” getting to spend so much time with bandmates Lance Bass, JC Chasez, and Chris Kirkpatrick again. (Justin Timberlake, who was wrapping up his Man of the Woods tour at the time, was not present for the performance).
“I think the best time that I actually has was on the bus ride home. We just got to hang out, just really shoot the crap, hang out and really be fun, have a couple drinks with each other, and we haven’t done that in a long time. We actually rode a tour bus back to LA, which was cool,” Fatone explained.
The whole band, including Timberlake, previously reunited at their Walk of Fame ceremony last April. However, while every member got a chance to share their appreciation for each other in a series of speeches, the group didn’t sing any of their old hits.
Prior to that joyful occasion, the last time all five men got together was to celebrate Chasez’s 40th birthday bash in August 2016.
Although Timberlake, 38, didn’t join his bandmates for their surprise performance, the singer made sure to cheer his pals on from a distance.
“You guys killed it last night,” he wrote on Monday, alongside a photograph of the group cozying up to Grande backstage.
