Former glamour model Katie Price has been spotted back behind the wheel driving what appears to be an uninsured and untaxed vehicle.

According to The Mirror, the 44-year-old returned to driving after her two-year ban that was issued in December 2021.

In exclusive snaps taken on Monday (April 17) Katie can be seen driving an Infiniti coupe SUV owned by her on-off fiancé Carl Woods' family.

Snapped in Crawley, West Sussex, Katie headed home from a charity shop after she received an 18-month order to carry out 170 hours of unpaid work last year.

The black car is said to be worth £14,995, however it is currently showing to be uninsured and untaxed on the national database.

The car was last registered in March 2016 when it was purchased by a business registered to a member of Carl Woods' family.

According to GOV.UK, motorists must have insurance on their vehicles if they do use the roads in public places. Equally, car drivers could receive a fine if their vehicle is not taxed.

Sitting in the SUV alongside Carl, Katie appeared to be relaxed as her son Jett Hayler, with whom she shares with ex-partner Kieran Hayler could be seen sitting at the back.

Katie was banned from the roads after she was caught driving under the influence.

The star completed a drink drive reduction course, which reduced her disqualification of 24 months by 24 weeks.

In September 2021, Katie was involved in a serious one-car traffic accident which saw her BMW car flip on a country road after she got behind the wheel under the influence again, without insurance and while under a driving ban.

Despite her previous troubles on the roads, after her sixth driving ban, which was lifted on Friday, Katie was quick to get back behind the wheel again and drove herself home from her community service.

Talking about the mother-of-five's newfound freedom, an insider told The Mirror that Katie is thrilled to have her license back.

The source said: "Katie feels relieved to finally have her license back. She feels as if a weight had been lifted off her shoulders."

"Katie always seems to get herself in trouble. Because of her celebrity status, she thinks she’s invincible."

In September 2021, Katie avoided jail over her driving offence – in a move that even her own judge branded as "lucky."

At the time, District Judge Kelly sentenced the I'm A Celen star to a 16-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months at Crawley Magistrates' Court.
