Liam Gallagher labels Noel ‘a poor c*** addicted to showbiz’ in scathing rant

Liam Gallagher has taken aim at his estranged brother once again.

The former Oasis frontman is heading back to his hometown in June for a massive show at Heaton Park – and tickets have already been snapped up.

With the supporting artists yet to be revealed, the 47-year-old decided to ask his fans on social media who they would like to see perform at the sell-out concert.

And he couldn't help but made a jibe at his older sibling Noel Gallagher.

Writing to his 3.1million Twitter followers, he wrote: "Right, if you could choose between the three to support at Heaton Park who would you prefer? The mighty Richard Ashcroft or Kasabian or Nghfb [Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds]. Which 1 c’mon chop chop."

Following a recent interview, where Noel revealed he's set to "call it a day" from touring, many of Liam's fans asked what he thought about his family member's decision to shun the limelight for a while.

"Liam what do you think about Noel taking a break. What are your thoughts?" a user asked.

"Honestly I think he needs about 5 years out of the limelight," he responded.

"It’ll be hard for him as he’s a showbiz w**re and he’s very forgettable so can’t see it happening. It’s terrible to be addicted to showbiz. Poor c***."

But his constant barrage of criticism didn't sit right with one follower.

"Move on, he has and he doesn't sound like tribute act," one user vented.

"He sounds like a s**t M people instead," Liam hit back.

Looks like fans may be waiting a while for an Oasis reunion…
