Madonna has taken to Instagram to share a series of snaps along with a cryptic message that will leave fans stumped as to what she is implying.

The 63-year-old is no stranger to posting unusual pictures on Instagram and her recent story is no exception.

The star shared nine selfies, all with either “going nowhere fast” or “g-o-n-e” written over them.

The first showed Madonna wearing a pair of alien style sunglasses and a lace bodice, while the next showed her up close with an Instagram filter on, which placed a nose chain over her bridge.

The selfies continued on like this for a while until the final snap.

The Material Girl singer posed for an extreme close-up shot as she pouted her large lips for the camera.

She wore a white fishnet top and accessorised with thick silver chains and wrote: “Love you. Mean it. Bye…” and added a red heart emoji.

Within the selfie snaps, she also shared two pictures of cracked walnut shells in the shape of the letter “M,” presumably to represent her name.

In the first picture, she had assembled the shells along with a nutcracker and pointed her finger into the middle of the strange arrangement.

She had a white manicure and wore a ring with a silver diamond encrusted “M”.

However, after a few selfies, she then posted someone else – this time with blue painted nails and a finger tattoo – as they aimed a middle finger towards the pile of scraps.

The hand is assumed to belong to American model Evan Mock as she tagged him underneath the confusing gesture.

Kim Kardashian recently paid homage to the Queen of Pop with an outfit inspired by one of her most iconic looks.

The reality television star recently stepped out in a pin striped, floor length dress that featured two nude coloured breast cups on the outside of the dress, designed to look as though the breasts were completely exposed.

Kim’s dress was a replica of Madonna’s 1992 Jean Paul Gauliter look and she shared a picture of the Kardashian on her Instagram story.

The songstress called the look “kewt”.
