Molly-Mae Hague targeted by vile sexual slurs at Tommy Fury’s boxing match

Molly-Mae Hague became the victim of vile chants as she sat watching her boyfriend Tommy Fury fight over the weekend, after boxing fans hurled abusive chants at her.

The Love Island star, 22, was sat in the Stoke Arena – Telford International Centre – trying to watch her boyfriend Tommy fight in a boxing match against rival opponent Jordan Grant – which Tommy ended up winning on a points decision.

However, Molly and Tommy's Saturday night (June 5) took a turn for the worse when boxing fans around the arena started hurling abusive comments and nasty chants about the celebrity pair.

The excitable beer-soaked crowd were singing cruel songs about Tommy – such as "Your bird is too good for you" when he entered the arena.

The fans also piped up singing: "Molly is too good for you, your bird is too fit for you."

The chants then took a really grim turn as they became sexually explicit in nature.

According to one disgusted social media user who took to Twitter to defend Molly, the chants included lines such as "Molly-Mae get your t*ts out".

In their tweet, which mentioned BT Sport and the arena's official accounts, the fuming fan wrote: "Disgusted to hear the chants about Molly Mae last night. 'Molly-Mae get your t*ts out', 'Molly-Mae takes it up the sh*tter'.

"This is blatant sexual harassment. Why was this allowed at a big televised sporting event? Those people should’ve been removed."

Bravely, Molly-Mae sat through the chants the whole time with her fellow ITV islander Maura Higgins, and ignored them during the fight as she supported Tommy.

The influencer even stayed until the end of the match to take photos with fans and give interviews to the waiting sports press.

Tommy finished the fight with his sixth victory, with the judges scoring it 40-36.

Molly was audibly cheering when the referee lifted his hand to announce him the winner of the bout.

Unfortunately though, a number of the 1,000 ringside fans chose to boo Tommy and resumed the intimidating chants.

After the match ended, Tommy's dad John Fury revealed his son "overcame the vile comments" to win the match.
