Peter Andre has hinted at a major music comeback – after posing for a secretive studio snap with Love Island hunk Wes Nelson.

Teasing his adoring fans on Instagram, Peter shared a series of behind the scenes shots – and the dad-of-four looked like he was in his element.

It comes after the Mysterious Girl singer, 48, told his fans to "stay tuned" last year as he was working on fresh new music.

Last night, the pop star was seen in the studio with ex-Dancing on Ice star Wes, who has become a hitmaker himself, as well as producer Ayo Beats and a number of others.

In one photo, Peter donned a stylish Adidas cap as he smiled next to Wes and Ayo Beatz.

Peter was clearly excited to be in amongst the musical , because he told his 1.7 million followers: "What a day…"

Back in October, Peter revealed he was working on new music that is expected to drop this summer.

He even teased fans with a new track, asking them what they thought of the summer song and opening a poll on it.

The club-ready track seemed to feature Peter's vocals on it, but he also tagged his son Junior on his Story, which could mean we're in for a father-son collaboration.

Captioning the clips, Peter said: "Working on summer vibes for 2022.

"New music getting ready for 2022."

Junior, 16, recently signed a major deal with Columbia Records.

The teen thanked his dad Peter for helping to "develop" him as an artist.

He said: "Wow.. where do I start. These past 6 months have been hectic. But I’ve loved every single second of it.

"My dad took me to the studio 6 months ago and got me in the booth at @rebelrecs. Since then, I have secretly been working on a MASSIVE project, and not long ago got a call saying @columbiauk want to sign me!

"I would just like to say thank you to the team @rebelrecs alongside my dad who have helped develop me into an artist.

"And of course a big shoutout to @sktartist and @marcellonoego who are very talented and have been working with me on this project since the start."

He added that his mum, Katie Price, was "always supportive of me".

Peter's eleventh and most recent studio album was White Christmas in 2015, which he released just two weeks after his swing record Come Fly with Me.
