Scott Disick has revealed why he decided to end his relationship with Sofia Ritchie.

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 37, enjoyed a whirlwind romance with family friend and model Sofia, 22, for three years.

However, Scott made the decision to call it quits on their love story after Sofia became increasingly jealous about how much time her boyfriend spent with his ex-lover, Kourtney Kardashian.

The reality TV star shares three children with the Keeping Up With The Kardashians superstar, 41, and the pair happily co-parent together.

Opening up about his crumbling relationship with Sofia, Scott admitted that it became difficult for the 22-year-old to see the ex’s spend so much time together.

It became so painful for Sofia that she ultimately asked the proud dad to choose between her and Kourtney.

Scott previously explained that he and Sofia took a break because she felt like she wasn't his priority.

The pair reunited but eventually decided to end their relationship.

Opening up about the split on the season premiere of the latest Keeping Up With the Kardashian series, Scott told Kim and Khloe: "I thought I would give it a try and make her more of a priority, but then even when doing that, I feel like she just started wanting to push Kourtney out.

"And I said like, that's the most important thing to me is my kids and that's my family, and the only family I have, including you guys along with it."

"She was like, 'I don't want to share you as a boyfriend with Kourtney,'" he added.

"And then she literally said with an ultimatum: 'You have to choose me or Kourtney.'"

"And I was like, 'But Kourtney is Kourtney and my kids – it's a unit,'" Scott said. "I was like, 'How could you even want that for me?' It just became like, an impossible relationship to keep carrying on with, right?"

Scott then insisted that he could never, ever, cut ties with Kourtney or their kids Mason, 11, Penelope, eight, and Reign, six.
