Tom Fletcher has revealed that he'll be rejoining his McFly bandmates at their O2 Arena show later this year – following his period in Covid isolation.
The Mcfly singer has been competing on series 19 of Strictly Come Dancing with his pro dancing partner Amy Dowden, but he was forced to drop out of the second week of the BBC One show after he and Amy tested positive for Covid.
It also meant that he was forced to miss out on the rest of his band McFly's UK tour, after the star did his best to balance his Strictly obligations with his pop star duties.
The star admitted that it was a "silly idea" to try and juggle Strictly with the McFly tour – adding that he "didn't do it very successfully".
Tom was left "gutted" at having to miss out on his remaining tour dates as well as his next Strictly dance with Amy whilst he finishes his isolation.
However, he's since confirmed that he'll soon be picking up the guitar again, and that's to play with his McFly pals at their special one-off show at London's O2 Arena.
Taking to Instagram, the singer shared a snap of his McFly mates Harry Hudd, Danny Jones and Dougie Poynter as they celebrated the end of their tour without Tom.
Praising his pals, he penned the caption: "Huge shoutout to these three heroes for holding the fort and smashing the end of the tour as a 3-piece last night.
"I can’t tell you how weird it is to know a McFLY show is happening without being there next to Danny, Dougie and Harry but I’m so proud of the band and our team for getting these last shows on for you all under some pretty challenging circumstances."
He then revealed that he'll be able to perform with the band at their O2 Arena gig in November, adding: "Well done boys. I’ll be back for the O2. See you then"

In the meantime, Tom has been sharing a series of sweet snaps of his wife Giovanna who regularly visits him during his period of self-isolation.
The I'm A Celeb winner has been snapped waving at Tom from behind the window as she can't meet him in person, and earlier this week she appeared on Tom's story standing outside so that she could eat lunch near her hubby.
Tom shared a sweet snap of Giovanna and their youngest son Max as they checked up on him on Thursday (30 September).
The smiling pair could be seen from behind the door, and it was clear that Yom was missing his family as he simply added the caption of a love-heart emoji and tearful-emoji.
Tom and Giovanna share their sons Buzz, Buddy and Max, and they got married on 12 May 2012.
