Hollywood star Tara Reid was the typical girl-next-door as she propelled to fame as Vicky in box office smash American Pie.

The actress, who turns 46 on November 8, was just 24 when her career rocketed following the launch of the first instalment of the sex comedy in 1999.

At the peak of her career, she told The Bryan Times in 2002: "I'm proud of where I am at 26, so getting older is not so bad, I want to age on film. I want to be the old lady in Titanic one day."

The teen movie queen went on to appear in many popular films such as Cruel Intentions, Van Wilder and an American Pie sequel.

While her career has seen many highs and lows over the years, one thing that's for sure, is that Tara has always brought the heat when it comes to many of her outfit selection, with plenty of her skimpy dresses stealing the show on red carpets.

Plunging frock

In 2017, Tara stunned onlookers as she stepped out onto the red carpet of the 4th Annual CineFashion Film Awards in Los Angeles, California.

Ensuring that all eyes were on her she wore a daring frock that plunged deep and almost exposed her navel.

The sparkly red frock appeared as though it had been tailored to fit, with the shiny material hugging her svelte frame impeccably.

Oozing elegance, her signature blonde tresses were styled into a sleek up-do.

Backless party antics

During the American Pie star's wild party days she certainly commanded attention in whatever outfit but there were some that were more eye-popping than others.

Back in 2005 Tara rocked up to the VIP Room Saint Tropez in, France wearing next to nothing.

While it seems – from the picture above – that the actress had gone topless, the starlet did actually have her modesty concealed by a very skimpy floral piece of material that covered her nipples from view.

Enjoying herself, Tara popped on some pink merchandise as she headed to the bar.

Sinfully see-through catsuit

When it comes to Halloween costumes, Tara killed it in 2017 when she stepped out as sexy devil.

Donning a ruby red catsuit that was formed entirely from thin and flimsy material which made her attire appear as though it was see-through, the sex comedy star stole all of the limelight.

Tara popped on a towering pair of killer heels, a signature devil horn headband and tail to match as she attended the Maxim Halloween party at Los Angeles Centre Studios.

Racy display with buddy Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton and Tara Reid were best friends and would often be seen on the party scene together rocking twining outfits.

The duo made quite an entrance when they arrived at the Avalon Hollywood Grand Opening in Hollywood, California both sporting similar American football shirts that were cropped to flaunt their toned torsos.

But the girls relationship soured and they lost touch with Tara even being famously snubbed by Paris and Kim Kardashian as they waltzed into a club.

In 2014, Tara appeared on the Kyle and Jackie O show on Kiss FM, explaining she hadn't "seen Paris in years".

Glam two-piece

After rehab, Tara was glowing with self-confidence once again and her attire proved that too.

The blonde-haired beauty stunned as she showcased her toned figure in a jaw dropping two piece.

Accessorising, she popped on a chic headband to complete her image with Tara's long platinum locks falling across her chest.

By way of makeup, she opted for lashings of black liner which made her blue eyes pop and a pink glossed lip.

Stick-on dress

Tara stole the spotlight as she walked down the red carpet for the premiere of The Last Sharknado: It's About Time back in 2018.

She opted for a dress held up by luck alone, consisting of silver material seemingly stuck to the chest, toned stomach and her decolletage, leaving little to the imagination.

The blonde bombshell showed off a glimpse of cleavage, as well as a look at her washboard stomach as the daring design of the dress flaunted her famous figure to the waiting cameras.
