Exorcist’s wife almost killed after ‘being attacked by demon from Ouija board’

A registered Catholic exorcist and ordained reverend has talked about the first-ever paranormal incident he investigated – in which he claims a demon nearly robbed his wife of her life.

Reverend Shawn Whittington, who is a registered Exorcism Deliverance Minister based in Las Vegas, told the Beyond Reality podcast that he "regretted" ever using a Ouija board following the experience.

Telling the harrowing tale, he said: “Unfortunately the first extremely malevolent case that we came across, I didn’t recognise the signs and so I was very stupid and ignorant as to how to properly use an Ouija board or even if they should be used.

"I don’t use them or touch them anymore but we used a Ouija board in this case and did a seance and I believe now that it caused something to come through and attach to us and it followed us home that night and took up residence in our home for about eight weeks."

There were dire consequences to this he said, adding: "If I could do it all over again I probably wouldn’t because I almost lost my wife because of it.

"She was the one who was the target of the attack.

When asked by the host JV Johnson if the attack was physical, Reverend Shawn replied: “It was physical, well everything, but mostly physical."

"It left her with three very rare forms of cancer and she didn’t drink, didn’t smoke, she was the healthiest person I knew, no history of cancer in her family.

"And right after we got this thing out of the home her attack – or what was leftover of the attack – came on like Dam Busters and within just a few days she developed a very rare form of tongue cancer, thorax cancer, and thyroid cancer which spread through the lymph nodes all through her neck – and she was expected to die.

"She had a feeding tube in for over a year and she wasn’t expected to live, so I did a lot of crawling on my hands and knees on my prayer chapel many nights while she was basically, literally, dying at home."

Fortunately, Reverend Shawn's wife survived and he continued to do his work and also became ordained, as he had promised God when praying for his wife's life.
