A fisherman was left shocked after he caught a strange-looking creature which has been dubbed "Frankenstein's fish".
The terrifying discovery was made in Russia as Roman Fedortsov worked on a trawler in Murmansk in the northwest part of Russia.
Fedortsov, a deep-sea fisherman, has dedicated his life to searching for creatures of the unknown, Mirror reports.
The brave man spends most of his life at sea and has garnered a whopping 649k followers on Instagram who are chomping at the bit to see his next frightening undersea creature.
Roman recently shared a snap of an almost translucent catch which sported unusual fins, a terrifyingly-ghostly eye and a jagged tail.
The fish looked as if it had been sewn together due to the unique markings that covered its whole body.
The post has racked up over 5,000 likes on Instagram as users remarked at its strange appearance.
Users piled in their hundreds to comment on the unusual creature, with one person writing: "I have been looking for this little guy for a few year in this waters, you are very lucky, it's magnificent."
Another remarked: "Looks like a Pokemon."

"Wow looks like a Cartoon Fish," said a third.
Other users have been theorising what the weird fish could be and many believe they have cracked it with their suggestion.
One person wrote: "Hey! A Ghost Chimera! Also known as ghost sharks, rat fish, spookfish, and rabbit fish! I don't see pics of them too often."
Other users have simply been praising the unique amphibian, with one saying: "I love seeing these wonderful creatures!"
Roman has found a number of other terrifying creatures including a parasite that hooked onto a fish's eye and a ghastly creature which spewed the entirety of its stomach contents.
