Google Maps fans on Reddit have only just discovered a hidden royal Easter egg on the app.
When users search to look at Buckingham Palace, Balmoral or Windsor Castle they will find that the iconic yellow Street View 'pegman' becomes a cartoon of Queen Elizabeth II.
The discovery resurfaced today (April 2) in the subreddit r/googlemapsshennanigans as forum user u/empire05 wrote: "If you zoom in near Buckingham Palace, the Street View person will change to a caricature of Queen Elizabeth II."
The figure was first spotted last year as several Reddit users expressed their admiration for the hidden feature, as one user said: “It’s these small details that make me happy.”
However, another user noted that the cartoon looks like it’s giving a rather rude gesture.
They replied: “I know she’s supposed to be waving but it really looks like Liz is giving us the finger.”
Reports say that Buckingham Palace isn't the only location where the Queen appears as it also becomes the monarch at Balmoral and Windsor Castle.
However, the royals aren't the only ones with special features on the app as the icon becomes Nessie when users view Loch Ness.

Doctor Who fans can also step into the Doctor's Tardis on a busy London street which is a long-forgotten Easter egg from almost 10 years ago.
The Whovian posted a screenshot of the famous blue police box from Earls Court road to Reddit yesterday, writing: "Random TARDIS in the middle of London (Why does this look so similar to the TARDIS easter egg)."
In 2013, it was discovered that on Google Maps users could click on an arrow to enter the blue box and take a look around the control room – and the feature still works today!

Doctor Who’s production designer Michael Pickwoad, revealed the console room as the new home to the Doctor and "the impossible girl" Clara Oswald (played by Jenna Coleman) as they travel together through space and time.
However, the interior has continued to change throughout the show as it has adapted to each doctor but the 'Easter egg' remains the same.
