Homeowner spooked after spotting ‘see-through figure’ moving past CCTV

Creepy footage of a mysterious figure appearing to move across a home has left the property’s owner spooked.

The video clearly shows some sort of object moving behind a wall.

It seems translucent and floats – with no visible signs of legs.

Reddit user GilgameshvsHumbaba posted the footage yesterday, in the hope of getting some answers.

They wrote: “In the first couple of seconds look to the right under the table.

“Cat or dog, I don’t know.

“I was not aware of it at the time and only realised what I picked up in the review.”

It wasn’t long before dozens of people commented their suggestions of what the figure could be.

  • Spooky figure 'like The Ring ghost' emerges from under trampoline as boy plays

“Whatever that is, it does not move like a cat,” one wrote. “So weird.”

Another also dismissed a cat or dog, adding: “It almost looks see-through.

“It also slides in a single direction. Not in a swiping motion like a tail wag. Creepy.”

But many were sceptical and looked to offer more plausible explanations.

“This looks like someone was behind the door and dragged a plastic shopping bag with their feet without knowing it,” one said.

“It’s creepy, not saying it’s real or fake I think it is real but I was wondering is there anyone or anything behind the door in that room?”

The uploader tried to dispel claims there was a logical explanation by then uploading a screenshot in the figure in a separate post.

And it seemed to work, with one person immediately commenting: “I saw your video earlier and wrote it off as a rat or cat or some small animal.

“But after seeing this, I can’t unsee it. Made my hair stand up.

“Is it this legit or are you messing around? Either way, it’s creepy.”
