People have been getting spooked over a weird video that shows a man taking selfies with a doll he found "in the middle of the woods" before things take a dark turn.
In the clip, TikTok user @timmysayshi films himself messing with the doll and then describes the misfortunes that happened to him in the following week.
He poses with the doll and zooms in on its face, saying: "We just found this guy in the middle of the woods, no lie."
The creepy and childlike doll has a maniacal grin plastered on its face a bit like Chucky from the horror franchise and it's enough to give viewers chills.
"His name is Timmy," jokes the TikToker in the on-screen caption.
He then seems to regret his actions and later says: "I did not think this doll was going to be haunted because we made fun of it and a week later my car got crashed into, the camera starts glitching, and my dog starts barking out of nowhere."
The TikToker then shows a receipt he got with $6.66 on it and seems to think it's a bad omen.
Unsurprisingly, the video was watched more than 5 million times and people in the comments were clearly freaked out, with many of them posting Christian cross emojis.
Many of them also tried to protect themselves from the doll, which they seemed to think was possed by an evil ghost or demon, by commenting: "I don’t claim any negative energy."
Another user wrote: "Do y’all not watch scary movies? Why would you mess with him?"
"Dang, why did you do that?" said someone else.
A third viewer suggested: "Go back and spray it with holy water."
Not everyone was convinced the video was really "paranormal" and some people even mocked the people in the comments who were taken in.
A skeptic wrote: "People can’t drive, phones glitch, dogs bark that’s life not being haunted."
