Michael Jackson alive believers in tears at ‘identical’ lookalike’s new video

Believers in a conspiracy that Michael Jackson is alive have said they are in tears after a lookalike of The King of Pop posted a new video on his Instagram account.

Sergio Cortes, a full-time MJ impersonator who performs the star's hits, made a clip to announce a new date for his upcoming world tour on Monday.

The uncanny lookalike can be seen wearing a bright red shirt and black trilby – similar to an outfit worn by MJ in 1992 – as he addresses his adoring fans with the news.

Talking straight to the camera, Sergio says: “Hello everybody, to all Michael Jackson fans in Doha, Qatar.

“Come and watch me perform the live Michael Jackson tribute show on March 13 at Doha Qatar National convention centre."

"This is Sergio Cortes, I see you soon," he adds, blowing a kiss at the camera.

The clip has been seen more than 28,000 times and has clearly made an impression since Sergio shared it.

Some confessed it made them cry after bizarrely believing the footage proved Sergio is the real MJ.
