Speechless dad James Patterson managed to snap a photo of the figure running through the streets while out trick or treating with his son. He described the 'gimp' as "scrawny and menacing".

Mr Patterson from Twigworth told Gloucestershire Live: "I was just taking my son out ‘Trick or Treating’ when I saw a black, scrawny, somewhat menacing looking figure in darting and dodging down the roads in the Bloor housing estate."

The dad added that the man's rapid darting made the images appear even more spooky, due to the blurring. He explained the figure ran down Tewkesbury Road towards the Bloor Homes development.

  • Somerset Gimp 'terrorised locals for months' and repeatedly jumped out at women at night

It comes after the infamous “Somerset gimp” court case. Where an individual dressed in a full-body latex suit was jumping out of bushes to scare people.

On October 27, Joshua Hunt, aged 32, from the Claverham area, was found guilty at Bristol Magistrates’ Court of two offences under the Public Order Act of causing intentional harassment, alarm or distress after scaring female motorists in Somerset while dressed in a gimp suit.

Avon and Somerset Police said Hunt was told to pay £200 compensation to three different victims and fined £100.
