The US Navy purposely covered up their own state-of-the-art technology by labelling the USS Nimitz UFO as “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena”, conspiracy theorists have claimed.
The Nimitz incident in 2004 has become one of the most famous pieces of UFO footage in history, with dozens of pilots and witnesses coming out since with incredible detail on the “craft”.
Commander David Fravor, who saw the object from his fighter jet, claimed it reached never-before-seen speeds by dropping from 20,000ft to just above sea level in a matter of seconds.
The videos were leaked in a New York Times article in 2017 and in September, the US Navy finally announced they do not know what the objects are.

But Blake and Brent Cousins, of YouTube channel thirdphaseofmoon, believe not all is as it seems.
They both suggest the craft belongs to the US Navy and there is a cover-up operation taking place so other countries don’t cotton on to the technology.
In an exclusive interview with Daily Star Online, Brent questioned the timing of the US Navy’s announcement that the UFOs were indeed “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena”.
He told this site: “It took them two years to finally come forward and admit these things in the skies are doing things that they can’t explain.

“I think they came forward and admitted that they can’t explain it, admit disclosure, as part of the cover-up.”
Brent explained that the technologically advanced craft may purposely have been labelled a UAP so as to put other countries off the scent.
“It could be a tactic just to say ‘look at the tic-tac’ and not worry about what else we have in our assets,” he said.
“Who knows what else they have in their assets?
“The tic-tac, in that sense, is not very threatening.”

Blake also chimed in to suggest, like many veterans have previously, there are more videos out there.
“In my opinion, they have much more footage that they’re not showing – they’re just giving us the tip of the iceberg and what they’ve actually captured,” he added.
“Will we see more of these videos? They’re testing a lot of them in my opinion.
“There are only three blurry videos from the Navy and they’re allowing their pilots to say that whatever these things are they can’t explain and are doing these manoeuvres.

“In my opinion, the tic-tac is one of ours – they want us to see them.”
Blake and Brent have previously spoken about the Space Force, claiming a series of mysterious craft spotted over Portland in the above footage could belong to the military branch.
Several former US Navy soldiers have come out in the past hinting at a cover-up.
Lead Petty Officer Ryan Weigelt explained earlier this year how secretive Men in Black-style officials boarded the aircraft carrier soon after the sighting to confiscate key materials.
