Kelly Green thought she was alone when she was chatting to a friend online, until her pal sent her back a screenshot of the conversation with a ghostly apparition.
Hovering over Kelly’s right shoulder is what appears to be the face of a young woman with long blonde hair who seems to be amused at something Kelly’s saying.
Just an optical illusion? Or something more?
Kelly showed the snap to her father Derek, who happens to be something of a ghost hunter. He believes the apparition could be the ghost of Kelly's sister, Jessica.
Jessica was miscarried around two years before Kelly was born. Kelly thinks that the spectral image looks like a cross between her daughter Scarlett-Rose and herself, reinforcing the theory that the phantom could be a family member.

"It's creepy to think the ghost looks like my daughter. It's like her aunty in a way.
"My dad thinks it is my sibling, but without him getting in contact, we don't know."

Kelly is part of Yorkshire-based ghost-hunting group, South West Yorkshire Paranormal Team, along with her dad Derek and mum Stephanie.
The group conduct investigations across the North-West, particularly focusing on Yorkshire and Manchester.
After Kelly appealed to members online, some speculated that the figure was a little girl from the 18th century – noting her old-fashioned clothing.
