Claude Puel insists Harry Maguire is committed to Leicester ahead of his return to training next week despite interest from Manchester United.
United have tried unsuccessfully to prise England stopper Maguire out of the King Power Stadium.
Jose Mourinho is now believed to be prioritising Barcelona defender Yerry Mina instead as well as Toby Alderweireld of Tottenham.
Leicester have held firm despite Reds boss Mourinho being prepared to pay £65million for the 25-year old.
Now the Foxes hope to tie Maguire down on a new four-year deal worth £100,000-a-week.
Foxes boss Puel said: “The most important and only thing is Harry comes back and enjoys playing with us and to prepare for the new season with the right mind.
“I am have no hesitation about this.
“I don’t want to make comments telling about contract or details or different things."
Maguire still has four years left on his deal after joining from Hull last summer but is in line for a major pay-rise.
