Manchester United have persuaded in-demand goalkeeper Dean Henderson to stay at Old Trafford.
Hot prospect Henderson, 21, is set to snub interest from a string of clubs and sign a new United deal.
England under-21 stopper Henderson was a wanted man after an impressive loan spell at League One play-off finalists Shrewsbury.
The fact his contract was due to run out this summer increased his appeal to his long list of suitors which at one stage stretched to 13 clubs from the Premier League, Championship and abroad.
But he has verbally agreed a new two-year United deal, with the option of a third year, and will be loaned out to a Championship side next season to continue his development.
Again Henderson won’t be short of options with Bristol City, who wanted him permanently, in the running.
Aston Villla, Sheffield United, Leeds and Norwich are in the hunt to land Henderson on loan too while Swansea could enter the race if they lose Lukasz Fabianski.
