Jesse Lingard is set to begin contract talks with Manchester United.
The England star only signed his current deal last year, but the 25-year-old has continued to develop and maintain his importance to the side.
United upped his weekly wage to £100,000 per week in 2017, with Lingard penning a four-year extension.
But he is now in line for a further bump in line with an agreement with the club, who are aiming to make their academy product feel valued.
The club are wary of allowing Lingard to follow Ander Herrera, Juan Mata and Luke Shaw by entering the last 12 months of their deals, report the Metro .
Lingard is yet to score this season, but chipped in with 13 goals in all competitions last term.
That impact at Old Trafford was enough to cement a starting role under Gareth Southgate with England at the World Cup. And now United are set to reward Lingard and prove their commitment to the player.
