Jose Mourinho’s early season woes continued on Monday night following a 3-0 loss to Tottenham.
United put in their best performance of the season in the first half, but much of that was unravelled when Harry Kane and Lucas Moura struck within two minutes of one another shortly after the interval.
It was the same old story for United, who were once again blighted by costly errors in defence, confirming Mourinho’s assertion that they desperately needed to strengthen at the back during the summer.
