WWE icon Mick Foley sacrificed his body for the entertainment of fans for years, and the 53-year-old has suffered from debilitating pain as he’s aged.
While Foley was serving as the Raw GM in 2016, he revealed that he needed a hip replacement, and wrote that it was difficult to travel.
“I am used to the constant pain – and it’s not like I wasn’t warned by almost every guy in the wrestling business that the moves I was doing as a younger man were going to come back to haunt me. Well, they’re haunting me! The weight-loss has helped considerably; without it, and the DDP yoga, I don’t believe I could even get through airports. But the constant travel means constant pain.”
In a clip from Foley’s 20 Years of Hell tour, Foley said that he’s now lost 80 pounds – and he had some help from Vince McMahon.
