THE holidays are normally a time for families to come together and celebrate their love. Unless you're a Kardashian, it seems.
Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and the rest of the clan have all experienced some shock or surprise during different holidays.
Take a look back at some of the Kardashian's biggest holiday blunders.
KIM'S HALLOWEEN DIVORCE
Kim famously filed for divorce from then-husband Kris Humphries on Halloween in 2011.
The split came just 72 days after their televised wedding, which, according to MTV, cost about $10 million.
Leading up to the divorce filing, speculation had been rife that the duo had called it quits.
Kim listed her reasoning for the divorce as "irreconcilable differences."
She released a statement regarding the split, saying: "After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision.
"I had hoped this marriage was forever but sometimes things don't work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best."
The divorce dragged on for several drama-filled years, before being finalized in April 2013 — nearly four months after Kanye West announced that Kim was pregnant with their first child together.
SCOTT'S HALLOWEEN WARDROBE MALFUNCTION
The Kardashian family faced yet another cursed Halloween three years after Kim's divorce filing.
In 2014, Kourtney Kardashian's ex, Scott, was criticized by fans for wearing a sheik costume.
As reported by Buzzfeed at the time, he shared photos of the costume on his own Instagram account, and also appeared in a photo on Khloe Kardashian's page.
Scott posed with Khloe, 37, and a friend. The friend was wearing the same costume, while the Good American co-founder dressed up as a cat.
She captioned the post: "Sheik p***y."
Commenters were quick to call him out, and Khloe wasn't off the hook either.
One follower wrote: "@khloekardashian your caption has got to go."
Another commented: "why did scott disick dress like that for halloween who does he think he is"
A third comment read: "Another Halloween and these idiotic 'celebrities' continue to do this s**t."
Khloe's Thanksgiving Pie
Khloe had some proverbial egg on her face when she was accused of lying about some homemade pies she shared for Thanksgiving 2015.
It seems the "home" of those homemade pies may actually have been an L.A. bakery.
According to TMZ, Khloe claimed on her Instagram that she baked 3 pies from scratch … pecan, pumpkin and cherry, all for a Thanksgiving feast.
But it turned out the pies actually came from one of the premiere bakeries in L.A. — Sweet Lady Jane.
The baked goods appeared to be identical to the pie selection on Sweet Lady Jane's website – right down to the bakers unique pie crust leaf adorning the pumpkin pie..
On Twitter, Khloe lashed out at her critics with some strong laguage.
In her NSFW rant, Khloe said: "Petty motherf*****s! I have real s**t going on in my life. Try not to choke on my nuts. You're sucking them pretty hard."
KARDASHIAN CHRISTMAS PARTY
The Kardashian family is possibly best known during the holiday season for their over-the-top Christmas Eve parties.
On December 6, 2020, Khloe took to Twitter to announce the family wouldn't be hosting the annual party due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The tradition began with Kris Jenner, but Kim and sister Kourtney were given the heavy responsibility in 2019.
And every year is full of memorable moments.
From Kim reuniting with Paris Hilton one year, to North meeting Santa Claus, the party never disappoints.
Except for one year.
Khloé Kardashian announced in December 2020 that the family’s beloved celebration would not be happening for the first time in 40 years amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“The Covid cases are getting out of control in CA,” she said via Twitter. “So we decided that we’re not doing a Christmas Eve party this year. It’s the first time we will not be having a Christmas Eve party since 1978 I believe.”
CHRISTMAS CARD CHAOS
What should have been a simple photo shoot for the family's 2018 Christmas card instead devolved into a bitter war of words between sisters.
And it was all captured on camera, and shown during the season 15 premiere of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
It all started when Kim tried to organize the annual photo card shoot.
But Kourtney couldn't or wouldn't budge on her availability.
Fed up, Kim told her eldest sister "no one wants you in the f–king shoot." When Kourtney protested about working around Kim's schedule, the KKW Beauty head fired back.
As Kourtney stormed off, Kim told Kris "she's the least exciting to look at." The comment and overall argument left Kourtney in tears.
"You guys just have really different values than me," Kourtney later said on a phone call. "I choose to be a mother to my three kids. I'm not here looking for another job. I already work enough, more than I would like to."
However, Kourtney's comment set Kim off even more and Kim told her sister, "You don't do sh-t."
"You're a very distraught, evil human being," Kourtney replied. "I don't want to see you, OK? I don't agree with who you are as a human being."
While Kim apologized to her sister, Kourtney wasn't over the dispute. As a result, the eldest sibling ultimately decided to skip Kim's baby shower for her third child Chicago West.
KYLIE'S MAKEUP DELAY
Kylie delayed the launch of her Christmas makeup line in 2021, as fans continued to slam her family for "tone deaf" social media posts following the Astroworld tragedy.
The beauty mogul has dropped her festive collection with Kylie Cosmetics on November 19 for the past four years in a row, with a promo in the days leading up to the release.
But fans had to wait this year amid her baby daddy Travis Scott's festival scandal.
As reported, ten people died and more than a hundred were injured at his concert in Houston, Texas on November 5 after the crowd surged toward the stage – and fans are seeking BILLIONS of dollars in damages.
Fans have taken to Twitter to speculate over the new drop, with one posting: "Kylie Jenner Christmas collection was set to drop today due to Travis scott she can't make any moves. Kylie cosmetics is suffering. If she drops this makeup line….. not a good look."
A second shared they feel Kylie should focus on sending money to the victims of Astroworld, tweeting: "No one is going to buy your Christmas collection, don't promote it. U have enough money, humble yourself, help those families that had a member die."
