Alex Jones revealed her baby daughter's name is Annie on Wednesday's episode of The One Show.
The presenter, 44, who is currently on maternity leave after giving birth earlier this month, was supposed to announce her newborn's name as a lovely exclusive for the show on Tuesday.
However, Alex admitted at the time that she wanted her husband Charlie Thomson's parents in New Zealand to know the moniker first, and that due to the time difference, they hadn't had a chance to receive the message yet.
After promising to return to The One Show on Wednesday night, Alex revealed her baby daughter's name after previously teasing the "simple" yet "classic" moniker.
Alex said via video from her home while breastfeeding her baby daughter: "Yes, we have, her name is… Annie!"
She then joked: "It's feeding time at the zoo here!" as she added that her two sons Ted and Kit were eating spaghetti bolognese in the kitchen.
The One Show viewers were quick to take to Twitter to comment on the "lovely" name.
One person said: "Annie what a beautiful name! #TheOneShow."
While a different account added: "#TheOneShow I'd like to congratulate Alex Jones on her new baby Annie."
It comes after the star made her first appearance on The One Show on Tuesday after giving birth earlier this month as she introduced her baby daughter to the BBC studio.
Alex said via video from her home: "So, with the name, today was the deadline because I thought: 'Right, we're just going to tell everyone what it is'. So, we were between two then we eventually decided we thought on one.
"So we rang Charlie's parents who are in Auckland, New Zealand, there are in lockdown and they can't be over here, obviously and sadly. So we rang them last night, which was this morning, and we didn't get an answer.
"So… I just spoke to Charlie and he said: 'Oh, Al, I don't think we can tell everybody until my mum and dad know because love them, grandparents already can't be here to meet her.'
"So we're going to have to ring them tonight and the thing is now, I'm building it up and it's a very simple, kind of classic name, but I think it's only fair that we tell grandparents first.
"But I'm really happy to pop back tomorrow night if you want and let you know. I'm just here guys, so anytime you want to check in!"
To which guest host Sam Quek added: "We can have the exclusive name announcement tomorrow!"
Alex also sweetly revealed that when The One Show title started playing, her little girl "opened her eyes and smiled" as she is used to hearing it.
Talking about the birth and how she is getting on, the star continued: "We are really well, thanks. She came very easily, she is tiny, as you can see.
"She is just gorgeous and so far, she is just in her sleepy stage. She is really easy and relaxed, let's hope it stays like that!"
Alex already has sons Ted and Kit with her husband Charlie and she sweetly revealed that the boys "absolutely adore" their new baby sister although she admitted that parenting two year old Kit while with a baby is "tricky".
Alex took to Instagram earlier this month to reveal she had quietly given birth to her third child.
She wrote to her 312,000 followers: "We have some news………Our beautiful daughter came safely into the world on Saturday afternoon 21.08.21.
"Tiny, but perfectly formed we are all beyond happy and besotted by her, especially Ted and Kit.

Alex is yet to announce the moniker she has given to her bundle of joy, adding: "Name will be incoming soon."
