Lorraine stand-in host Andi Peters suffered a hilarious mishap live on air when he couldn’t stop laughing during a link to the next segment.
As viewers watched Andi attempting to introduce the upcoming item on the morning show, he started giggling uncontrollably, until ITV decided to help him out and cut to the pre-recorded video.
The 51 year old – who is standing in for usual presenter Lorraine Kelly following a big shake-up to the daytime schedule – started off fine, as he told viewers at home what was to come during the rest of the programme.
Andi said: “Still to come, before 10 o’clock this morning, we’ll have the very latest as the Queen faces a decision about her Christmas plans.”
He continued: “But first, we have food fit for Royalty – see what we did there – here’s Bake Off’s Briony May Williams with a delicious idea…”
However, things then took a turn when Andy spluttered and then failed to get back on track, bursting into laughter as ITV quickly cut to Bryony’s cooking segment where she showcased her ideas for starters on Christmas Day.
After the clip aired, the camera returned to a composed Andi who continued with the rest of the show without a hitch.
And it seems fans couldn’t get enough of watching Andi front Lorraine, as they took to social media to praise the charismatic star.
One wrote: “Great to watch Andi Peters cover Lorraine this morning.”
Another added: “Loving Andi Peter on Lorraine this morning. Need to see him present more.”

Meanwhile, another impressed viewer suggested that he should join forces with ITV star Josie Gibson for a fun-filled show.
They wrote: “Yay! The brilliant Andi Peters has centre stage today. More please.”
“Would love to see him host This Morning with Josie, they’d be hilarious together.”
This comes as it’s been announced that Andi will be standing in for Scottish presenter Lorraine Kelly all week, as the show joins forces with GMB.
The two shows will broadcast from the same studio in a bid to protect hosts and staff from Covid amid spiralling rates of infection.
